A fund pools together the money of lots of different investors and a fund manager invests on their behalf. Funds invest in various types of asset, such as shares, bonds or property, depending on the objective of the fund helping you spread overall risk.
What is a unit trust?
Managed by a professional fund manager, a unit trust lets you invest your money alongside that of other investors within a single fund.
How do I top up my ISA?
You can top up your ISA by logging into My Account and go to the ‘Amend my contributions’ area, where you’ll be able to make top ups via your payroll or debit card.
How do I amend my regular contribution amount?
Log into My Account and go to the ‘Amend my contributions’ area.
How do I see a list of my transactions?
You can view your previous statements in your documents tab on My Account anytime, including current valuations and unit holdings.
Can I receive a regular income from my ISA?
You can’t currently receive a regular income from your investment. Any returns that the fund earns will be reinvested into the fund on your behalf to increase the value of your investment.
How do I cancel my application?
You have 14 days to cancel your application after submission. Please send us a secure message from your My Account or email customercare@landg.com
You're still subject to investment risk and if you do cancel. If the value of any investments purchased has fallen, you may receive back less than your original payment.

How do I transfer my investment to another provider?
To transfer to another provider, you’ll need to use their own transfer process. They’ll then contact us to start the transfer process.
How do I transfer in a different ISA?
Once you've set up a Stocks and Shares ISA with us, you can then transfer any old stocks and shares ISAs or cash ISAs into your account via My Account.
How do I withdraw money from my investment?
You can request a withdrawal from your investment at anytime by logging into My Account and selecting the "withdrawal" link on the product page.
Please note that if you withdraw your money you’ll lose the ISA allowance for that investment. If you wish to invest in another stocks and shares product in the same year you should speak to the new provider about transferring your investment.
How do I make further investments?
Log in to My Account and go to the ‘Amend my contributions’ area, where you’ll be able to make top ups via your payroll or debit card.
Can I get a valuation of my investment?
You can find your valuation information via My Account and on the product details page, which you can access via the summary page.
Can I switch my funds?
At present you're unable to switch to a different fund.
Can I invest in more than one fund?
At present, you can only invest in one fund at a time.
How can I change my user ID?
Log in to My Account, go to the ‘Update my details’ area and follow the instructions. For your security, your new ID should include a combination of letters and numbers, with no more than 15 characters.
You can change the email address we use to contact you in the ‘Update my details’ area too.
How can I change my password?
Log in to My Account, go to the ‘Update my details’ area and follow the instructions.
Your password must include at least:
Eight characters
One upper case letter
One lower case letter
One number
One special character from - _ @ ‘ # $ % ‘ ? : [ ] { }
Your password can’t be the same as your user ID and it’s best to avoid commonly used password.
Can I receive paper statements?
Our service is online-based. But if you have any specific needs, just send us a secure message or call us on 0345 678 0020 and we’ll see if we can help.
What happens if I leave my employer?
Your Stocks and Shares ISA belongs to you, so if you leave your employment you can continue to keep your Stocks and Shares ISA with us with the money invested in the same funds. You can continue to add money to your investment by debit card.
How do I let you know if I move home?
Log into My Account, go to the ‘Update my details’ area and follow the instructions.
We’ll update your personal details and product documents with your new contact address.
How do I tell you if I’ve changed my name?
Log in to My Account, go to the ‘Update my details’ area and follow the instructions.
We’ll ask you to print and post the online form back to us with one of the following documents:
Marriage or civil partnership certificate
Deed poll document
Current valid passport
Decree absolute or final order of civil partnership dissolution
Statutory declaration.
Once we’ve received your form and documents, we’ll make the change and send confirmation to your contact address. We’ll also return any original document you sent us.
How do I update my telephone numbers?
Log in to My Account and go to the ‘Update my details’ area, where you’ll see your current contact details, which you can update online.
What if I can’t find my contract note?
Please visit the doc store to access your documents. If you can’t see them, just send us a secure message and we’ll locate them for you.
What if I can’t find what I’m looking for?
Just send us a secure message with your question and we’ll get back to you in the next 24 hours.
How do I make a complaint?
In the event that you have a complaint in relation to the operation of your account, you should in the first instance contact our Head of Complaints at customercare@landg.com or Personal Investing, 3rd Floor Brunel House, 2 Fitzalan Road, Cardiff, CF24 0EB
If we're unable to resolve your complaint you may be able to refer this to the Financial Ombudsman Service. We’ll provide you with details as to how you can do this, if necessary.
What protections and compensation are in place for my investments?
Investments in Legal & General funds and our fund management service have protections under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). This means that you could be entitled to compensation if we're unable to meet our financial obligations to you when you invest your money with us.
In the unlikely that we became insolvent or default, your money invested with us would be covered by the FSCS up to a limit of £85,000. For more information, please visit the FSCS site: www.fscs.org.uk
